What a crazy year it has been for us all!

We have updated our website and more!

Have you noticed the change on our website?…

We have been busy building and designing our new website! We think it looks great so far and are still working on some small changes but we hope you like the new layout! As always we welcome feedback, so if there is anything you notice that might be challenging, confusing etc, please let us know.

Below is another recent change that will improve our reviews!

We now have a star rating for our products! Prior to this we only had reviews and star ratings were not available. If you have used any of our products and would like to review any of them we welcome your review and most importantly a STAR RATING on our products you have used. We thank you in anticipation as these reviews are very helpful for our customers to see what others experiences are. (5 being the best down to 1 star being not impressed)!

Our Natural Range Update….

Over our quieter Covid time we have also created a new logo and label for our natural range. We are very proud and excited of this “new look”! Im sure some of our customers may have already seen some of their products arriving with our new look, its simple, identifiable & unique!

Mr. Lloyds Treasures

Mr Lloyd recently passed away, a lovely man and a true gentleman who will be sadly missed.
He made our wild berry jams & sauces for over 28 years. Plus he hand turned our wooden pots as well. Still a few products left. R ead more here on his amazing commitment to not only us but the Penneshaw community.

Variety Bash 2020 On KI

Recently Kangaroo Island hosted the SA Variety Bash 2020 where there were 98 cars and 310 entrants and officials who travelled from KI to Glenelg over 5 days raising money and distributing grant funding.

We were proud to have them on their last night on KI for their Gala Dinner and presentation night at Emu Ridge. It was a great evening and is the biggest event Emu Ridge has ever hosted. See here for more pictures and information about the SA Variety Bash 2020.

Family News

This year sure has been a whirl wind! Its been over a year since Bev’s operation on her brain tumour (where has the time gone!) and wow she come a long way! There has been a lot of improvement with Bev’s facial nerves and she is going really well but there is still some way to go.

Unfortunately Larry recently had a heart attack, we are very lucky to have him, he was most likely having the heart attack for a few days before going to the hospital MEN!!. He spent a few days in hospital on the mainland where he had a stent put in. He is now home and recovering well. It just shows, if you aren’t feeling yourself to always please check in with your local doctor to be sure!

Ps. Choppa the family dog in the picture is still here greeting all our lovely customers who visit the shop. He sure did miss everyone during our lockdowns!
