Catch up time at Emu Ridge

What a busy time we have had at Emu Ridge over the past 6 months or so. We love an event or gathering here at Emu Ridge and we are so excited to support local groups, our community, the arts on KI among other things and bring fun, entertainment and joy to others. Melbourne Cup Fun

Once again we welcomed guests to Emu Ridge for a delicious 3 course meal including delicious  cocktails inspired by Mel. With Tiff running entertainment a lot of laughs and sweeps were had.

Ex local Megan bought her culinary skills and delights to Emu Ridge for a specially curated 5- Course degustation tasting menu highlighting all local products. Amazing doesn’t even come close to describing this event. See more here 

Twilight Tour and Steak Night – A Gutsy Event

June long weekend we welcomed guests from all over Australia. On arrival guest were greeted with a Eucalyptus cocktail, and a cosy fire, then taken on an amazing tour of the Distillery by founder Larry. Dr Graham Jones founder of Kangaroo Island Ciders, warmed everyone up with a delicious mulled cider and then gave a wonderful talk on his cider. We fed our guests with amazing SA Coorong plains free range steak to finish off

Disco, Disco, Disco…. Did someone say Disco!!

Each school Holiday we have been delighted to present a disco for the children and visitors to the island (we think the mums and dads love it to). With Tiff presenting the music and fun and Mel and Tristan cooking up a storm. Its been a great time and a tradition we will keep on doing each school holiday.

The Sullivans

Kevin Sullivan Country Singer/Songwriter and his talented family band The Sulli-Vans brought their brand of country music to Emu Ridge in May

Kevin Sullivan, his wife Belinda and their three children – KJ (13), ChaCha (11) and Jet (7) – have been touring the country, bringing joy, live music, and much needed morale-boosting around Australia since 2020.

Afghan Banquet on KI -10th March 2023

We were so spoilt to host Parwana Afghan Kitchen on KI with the help of the KI Art Feast. With a delicious three course meal by the renowned Adelaide Chef Durkhanai Ayubi and her family.
