We are proud our business has just turned 29, we did forget to celebrate this year but next year will be a big one! We have closed our Retail Shop for now its Online Only!

It sure is a chaotic crazy world at the moment. For us we first had the fires, now COVID-19! Sadly we have temporarily closed our Emu Ridge Shop until further notice. All tourist attractions and camping sites are closed on Kangaroo Island to protect our community and to stop non essential travel. It seems so unreal that this is happening in our world! Don’t worry our ONLINE SHOP is still here and we now need your support more than ever!

We were thrilled with our story on ABC TV with Sophie Thomson, it couldn’t have been aired at a better time with the Coronavirus causing havoc and Eucalyptus & Tea Tree oils not being available on supermarket and pharmacy shelves as most of it came from China. 90% of the worlds Eucalyptus Oil comes from overseas which many Aussies were not even aware of!

New Life Has Begun

On a positive note for us all on Kangaroo Island. Our wildlife is starting to fend for themselves without the aid of extra food, the trees are re-shooting, our famous Yakkas are flowering and a green tinge is filling the land. This gorgeous image is courtesy of Gaylene Ingram.

Choppa is a Dad

Those of you that have visited Emu Ridge would probably have been greeted by Choppa, we are excited to announce that he is now a proud dad! Choppa has really been missing our visitors, the first few days he came to work he sat on our empty verandah and howled! Thats true! Poor Boy. Mum and puppies are all doing well.

As our retail shop is closed we are adding some of our other products that we have generally kept in our shop. They will now be online.
