Pet Friendly Venues on Kangaroo Island

EMU RIDGE IS A PET-FRIENDLY LOCATION – Tourist Attraction – Cafe – KI Ciders Cellar Door

Emu Ridge has a large area for your pets to have a roam around outside including our picnic area or on the tour of the distillery. They are welcome on the front deck if you would like to enjoy a coffee or a meal from our delicious Cafe Menu! We also have areas where you can secure your pet plus pet bowls. Pets are very welcome as long as they are on a lead in these areas at all times, and we please ask you to clean up after them with your own dog waste bag thanks.

OFF-LEASH AREA

We do have a dedicated area that is fenced where you can let your dog have a little play and wander without the lead while you enjoy a drink or something to eat!

CHOPPA

Choppa our dog is always here, he is very friendly and loves to meet new friends. We are happy to put him on a lead if he is distressing your pet in any way. You never know what other pets you may find at Emu Ridge to, as we are Carers of Orphaned Animals and Birds.

Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Oil distillery has been a popular Kangaroo Island tourist attraction since 1991, we are the only commercial Eucalyptus Oil distillery in South Australia. We produce a 100% pure Australian Eucalyptus Essential Oil that is unique to the world produced from the Kangaroo Island Narrow Leaf Mallee (Eucalyptus cneorifolia) – along with a large range of beautiful natural products.

Our Cafe has a great variety on the menu and you are welcome to dine in or takeaway.

We have a fully licensed Bar and we house Kangaroo Island Ciders Cellar Door where tasting and sales are available.
