Kangaroo Island one of the Best Regions to Visit in the World!

WOW! Kangaroo Island was the only Australian location to make the list, we are recognised as a premier eco-tourism destination – and we toped globally renowned tourist hotspots such as Tuscany in Italy. We  ranked 2nd as a must-visit destinations in 2024 by global travel authority, Lonely Planet, in its Top Regions Hotlist 2024.                                                                                                 

The image is one of my favourite places to visit on Kangaroo Island Hanson Bay. A protected cove and river to swim on the rugged South Coast. Walk over the point and you have a raging ocean. Take a walk along the coastline to view the cliffs of the South, it’s just beautiful.

Last year Lonely Planet picked KI as one of Australia’s top 20 travel experiences and this year Tourism Australia named Stokes Bay the nation’s best beach.
