Can Emu Oil Help Arthritis?

Emu oil is an all-natural anti-inflammatory.  Since arthritis is associated with inflammation, applying pure Emu oil to the inflamed area or ingesting Emu oil may help aid in the reduction of that inflammation. A study published in Inflammopharmacology found that when used topically, emu oil’s anti-inflammatory properties were just as effective as oral administration of ibuprofen. If you suffer from joint pain, stiffness or swelling Emu oil may aid in the relief in these areas. Studies have shown it is helpful for osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, Reiter’s syndrome, gout, scleroderma, fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel, arthritis, headaches, migraines, shin splints etc. It can be rubbed into the inflamed areas or take 1 or 2 teaspoons a day, see what helps you best.

Following a visit to Kangaroo Island where we visited the store, I purchased Emu Oil for use on my skin graft scar (which was a few months old at the time). It has really helped keep it smooth and moisturised during the healing process, and I still use it some 2 years later. Re-ordering online has been easy and shipment is quick.

Very Prompt and pleasant. I don’t buy much just the Emu Oil and Eucalyptus to go with it for my hands and knuckles. it’s marvelous for the pain.

We have used the emu oil for many years and it keeps us moving much more freely than we would otherwise, and helps after exercise or gardening and eases the small aches and pains before they grow into big ones!! You are all unfailingly warm, welcoming and helpful every time I place an order, and it comes as promptly as availability allows, which is nearly always.

Bought this oil as I recently broke my ankle and had plate and screws inserted in the bone. I wanted to use this oil on the scar tissue. It has been incredible in helping the healing process of the scar. It is so light and penetrates into the skin so easily. I just wish I had bought a larger bottle. You can be sure when I have used it all up I will be buying some more. This is excellent oil. Your products are excellent – cannot recommend them highly enough!

I live in the United States and I am very happy that you are willing to ship to me at a reasonable price. Your Emu Oil is great. I use the Emu Oil regularly on my feet at night, and since starting this regimen I have eliminated pain in my feet and reduced diabetic nerve issues. I also rub it into my knees and other joints that seem inflamed. Your business offers a great product and friendly service.

Since visiting your site and being recommended to use Emu oil for some arthritis, I have used Emu oil daily on my wrists and finger joint. My finger joints and wrist are now pain free and with very good movement. I highly recommend this product. I have been using it for nearly two years.

Thank you for a prompt service. Purchased 2 bottles of the emu oil. One for my mum who has problems walking and nearly no pulse in her legs, bruised and very painful, and to my surprise the swelling has gone done slowly and so did the broken capillaries, started walking longer distances and nearly with no pain. It’s only been a short time, but already started to notice the difference. So thank you so much for a wonderful product. I love how this emu oil feels on my face, so moisturising and my body feels just so silky, love love love this emu oil, will definitely keep buying its amazing. Thank you very much.

By 2030, an estimated 67 million Americans ages 18 years or older are projected to have doctor-diagnosed arthritis.

An estimated 294,000 children under age 18 have some form of arthritis or rheumatic condition; this represents approximately 1 in every 250 children in the U.S.

People with doctor-diagnosed arthritis have significantly worse Health Related Quality of Life (HRQOL) than those without arthritis. People with this doctor-diagnosed condition report more than twice as many unhealthy days and three times as many days with activity limitations in the past month than those without arthritis.

Arthritis is a result of a breakdown in cartilage or inflammation.  Cartilage protects joints and enables smooth movement by absorbing shock when pressure is placed on a joint. Without the usual amount of cartilage, the bones rub together and this causes pain, swelling (inflammation), and stiffness.  The treatment of arthritis depends on the particular cause of the disease, on the joints that are affected, on the severity of the disorder and on the effect it has on your daily activities. Your age and occupation will also be taken into consideration when your doctor works with you to create a treatment plan.

If possible, treatment will focus on eliminating the underlying cause of the arthritis. However, sometimes the cause is NOT curable, as with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. In this case, the aim of treatment will be to reduce pain and discomfort and prevent further disability. Symptoms of osteoarthritis and other long-term types of arthritis can often be improved without medications. Making lifestyle changes without medications is preferable for osteoarthritis and other forms of joint inflammation .
