Awards, Success and Achievements at Emu Ridge

We are so proud of our staff at Emu Ridge and we are so proud of their achievements. Part of having such a great team is they help build our business and help make us a success.

Below are some of the awards and achievements we and our staff have received in the last 6 months from work to their personal lives, what a team we are so proud of everyone of them.

Last year we were so excited to win The Family Friendly Business of the year at the Yumbah Aquaculture Employment awards. We are so thrilled to have won this award as we are a small family run business  with all our family working it. We strive hard to be able to have a place for everyone to visit from children to Adults to our pets. This award was such a special moment for us.

Emu Ridge – Brand Values Business of the year.

Our Fabulous Hannah won Trainee/ Apprentice of the year at the Yumbah Aquaculture Employment Awards. We are so very proud of Hannah. Her smile, positive attitude, exceptional customer service and such a willingness to learn helps make our business the best. Hannah has just completed her Cert 3 in Hospitality Traineeship. Congrats Hannah!

Ava Mills is one of our youngest stars that works so hard in the kitchen and always has a smile on her face. Ava made the Kangaroo Island Basketball Association Under 16s.

Tayah is our kitchen star! Our quiet achiever. She also was chosen in the Kangaroo Island Basketball Association under 18’s .Well done Taya and Ava!

Jay and Dennis have worked with us for many years now. They are amazing in the kitchen from , baking and presentation, great waiters, front of house and baristas. They have had the experience of working with many different Chefs from all over the world over the years. They both recently partnered friends in the school formal and looking pretty dapper too. Well done boys so proud of you both.

Mel, Director, was the coach of her daughters Under 11’s Wisanger Panthers Basketball team who were successful in winning their Grand final .  Two of our staff also have daughters in this team. Anyone who knows Mel knows how passionate she is about Basketball and how proud of these girls she is. Well done Mel and the Under 11’s Panthers.

We are so proud of Imogen. Another one of our hardworking shop staff! Imogen was the runner up for the Soil Australia “Healthy Soils” Competition. Her report was on healthy soils and the importance of sustainable farming systems. Amazing work Imogen!

Mel (director) and Tristan (director)  brother and sister duo, went head to head at the Kangaroo Island Netball B Grade  Grand final. Mel, Coach and player of Wisanger Panthers  and Tristan, Coach of  Kingscote Hounds. Tristan’s Kingscote B grade women were victorious  and Mel received best on ground. They kept the staff entertained leading up to the final with their banter and stirring of each other at work. It was a great game and the difference was 1 goal in the last 1 minute. We love that we get to share this with our families and our Emu Ridge Family!
