NEW MENU STARTS 4th NOVEMBER!
We are happy to introduce our new Chef Lewis Middleton from the UK who will be bringing delicious and exciting new food to our Cafe. (Is he a Royal??)
Tristan, Bev and Larry’s son is heading out for the Crayfishing Season this November over Summer, so a great opportunity has arisen for Lewis and for us! Please make him feel welcome, we are thrilled to have him on board! He has already signed up for cricket season!
We are excited to see Lewis taking on his new role with pride, his skill and passion for creating some new and innovative dishes using our regions local and Australian native produce is exciting! With years of Cooking experience he will bring a new dimension to Emu Ridge and a new dining experience for Kangaroo Island visitors and locals, so enjoy something new! Lewis is from the UK but is enjoying his time working around Australia. He is excited to be working and living on an Island and is looking forward to meeting the locals, and looking forward to showcasing his culinary skills.
Lewis will be using Kangaroo Island and South Australian produce to showcase what our beautiful state has to offer. Each week he will have different specials to mix it up and we hope to have some special events so keep an eye on our Facebook and website!

🍳 Chorizo Infused Patatas Bravas – Rich Smokey Garlic and Tomato Roasted Potatoes, Spicy Chorizo, Topped with Fryars Fried Free Range Egg.
🌮 Fresh Fish Tacos – Kangaroo Island Fresh Seafoods Whiting, Fresh Pineapple Chilli & Coriander Salsa, Sesame Soy Slaw, Pickled Red Onion, Chefs Own Tartare Sauce In a Soft Shell Tortilla.
🍱 Moroccan Spiced Falafel Flat Bread – Homemade Falafels, Lemon Scented Couscous, Fresh Cucumber & Garlic Tzatziki, Pickled Carrot & Beetroot, Toasted Almonds, Grilled Pita Flat Bread

Our Cafe offers a great casual dining experience using our regions local produce. We cater for all dietary requirements. To complement our dining areas we offer a fully licensed bar that has a good selection of local beer, ciders and wine.
