Kangaroo Island Cellar Doors – False Cape Wines

False Cape Wines, Emu Ridge Eucalyptus oil Kangaroo Island
One of the latest venues to open on Kangaroo Island is False Cape Winery, officially opening their beautiful cellar door in 2019. We proudly represented False Cape Winery as their Cellar Door at Emu Ridge in their beginnings. With their first vineyards established in 1999 by Jamie & Julie Helyar & the Follett family of Langhorne Creek and their first vintage was released in 2003, Emu Ridge Cafe was their Cellar Door from 2003 until 2007. You can still purchase their wine from our Emu Ridge Cafe and enjoy it in one of our dining areas with a bite to eat or you can purchase them takeaway to enjoy later. Make a reservation at any time on our website or just pop in.
Jamie and Julie worked hard over the years and it was certainly worth the wait as it is a stunning location and a beautiful place to visit, in 2021 they worked on some great extensions, and we highly recommend giving them a visit while you are on Kangaroo Island. They do great meals are also child and pet-friendly like our venue here at Emu Ridge.
