Bruno 4 months having 4 hourly feeds but not through the night anymore.
As many of you know I have been a carer of orphaned animals for 20 years, here is my latest little baby Bruno the Brush-tail Possum.
Cocky just loves the fan! I am having problems with Cocky he will fly 10 km away and just land on someone, he is too friendly and I’m afraid someone will find him and put him in a cage. Some say I should clip his wings but I’ve always raised our animals to go back into the wild and or live free and friendly! He does have real Galah friends that he fly’s around with and chats too, as well as us humans!
Our Galah did this to my computer!! The little brat picked at everything. Cocky is doing great though, he has flown away and got lost a couple of times 10km from Emu Ridge, lucky we have good neighbours
Rosie, is doing so well she is spending more and more time with a Roo family that has a joey the same size as her, so she has a little friend. Im a little sad as I know it wont be long and she will be happy back in the wild, she is only 12 months old, the youngest Ive ever had one leave. She has been having 3 bottles a day, she has always been very independent. They all have such different personalities.
Cocky is doing really well, he still has no name. He has nearly grown all his feathers and is starting to flap his wings in readiness to start flying! We feed him bird seed crushed in the thermomix and add hot water to make it like mums regurgitated food!
Rosie the Roo is not impressed with all the squarks!! it is busy eating lots of weetbix and water mushed up at the moment
Mel found a Cocky (Galah) in town that had fallen out of a tree, squark squark squark, here we go, cute little thing in an ugly kind of way!!! ? at Emu Ridge.
Rosie doing well!
Rosie was enjoying the warm weather today LOL Cute half in and half out!!
